How to know if it's the right time
The sure-fire way to know if you will hit that big goal (or finally solve that big problem) is to understand why you haven't yet.
If you're waiting for:
the right time
the perfect solution or process
a sign from the universe
your husband to change or give his approval
to feel motivated
There's a pretty good chance that it won't happen, certainly not anytime soon.
These reasons are just super creative ways we self-sabotage without even realizing that's what we are doing.
⌚There isn't the "right time."
It's better to go for it when the timing is horrible. If you can do it then, you can do it anytime.
⌚ There isn't a “perfect solution.”
What works for one might not work for another. Perfect is subjective, anyway. You could have the "perfect" list of actions to take, but not take them. You could not know what actions to take, but figure it by learning how to cut through your BS and see what's really going on (aka managing your mind).
⌚ You won't feel motivated (most of the time)
You're better off going for it when you don't feel motivated because you won't be most of the time. Learning how to do things that you don't feel motivated to do is one of the most empowering skillsets you can develop. Many people waste a ton of energy and time trying to build up motivation. Let motivation be a bonus, not a requirement.
⌚ Waiting for someone else to change or give their approval.
Their opinion doesn't matter in the slightest unless you're taking it own as your own opinion. You have to want it, it's your job to have your own back here, nobody else's.
All of these are just super sneaky ways of sabotaging yourself, and you probably can't even see it. And this is why it's important to learn how to manage your mind.
If you're waiting for the "right time" (which sounds super helpful), you're giving up all of your power.
You're just sitting there silently suffering, waiting for a unicorn to land on your doorstep, so you can finally feel relieved.
And if you're waiting for your husband to change and the right time, you're basically waiting for a fleet of 🦄 unicorns to show up on your doorstep with little mini 🦒 giraffes on their backs.
The unicorn isn't coming.
And neither is relief.
...not until you take ownership of going after what you want.
Choose growth rather than waiting for it to choose you.
You deserve to experience the relief that comes when you take full ownership of your life.
You can decide that now is the right time.
…and create that reality for yourself.
It is a choice.
And you're the only one that can make it.
And have your own back regardless of the decision you make.
I can help you learn how to do all the things, even when you really don’t feel like doing them.
