Indecision Spinout

Indecision Spinout

I used to waste so much time spinning out in indecision.

You know the space where you're at the fork in the road and just can't decide.

You want to know that we're making the right decision.

You need to know that we're making the right decision.

You want to protect yourself from risk.

So you spend a ton of time anticipating what could go wrong with each.

Anticipate the worst-case scenario for either option.

You might spend a little time dipping your toes into both.

But you don't make any progress.

You just hang out in no man's land.

Stalemate.

Miserable.

The problem is there is no "right" decision.

They're all just different.

Each with its own pros and cons.

It's like the adventure time book series from back in the good old days.

If you want Sally to enter the cave, turn to page 132.

If you want Sally to go through the forest, turn to page 197.

{ I still don't quite understand how they created those in a way that worked.} 🀣

Either way, Sally is going to have ups and downs.

And, when you try to make sure you're making the right decision:

πŸ˜– You spinout and waste a ton of time

πŸ˜– You don't make any progress; it's legit impossible.

πŸ˜– You are MISERABLE

And think about why you don't want to make the wrong decision.

You don't want to make the wrong decision because if you do, you might:

πŸ˜– Spinout and waste your time

πŸ˜– Not make any progress.

πŸ˜– End up miserable.

Nucking futs, huh?

Your fear of making the wrong decision GUARANTEES that you will experience that which you fear the most.

One of the many ways we unknowingly self-sabotage.

If you want Sally to continue spinning the F - out and get nowhere fast, encourage her to keep researching until she's confident that she's making the right decision.

And if you want Sally to enjoy her life and finally gain some traction, have her make a decision and not look back.

Make a decision, and trust that you can handle anything that happens.

Because you can.

Flip the page and don't look back.

And if you'd like support on your adventure, I can help.
