The right plan
Waiting to start a project until you feel confident that it will work is like waiting to take a road trip until you know there won't be any unexpected traffic issues.
You won't get anywhere any time soon.
If this is the approach you usually take, you probably do this funny thing when it comes to creating something new.
I see it with most of my clients, and I did the same thing FOR years.
You want to feel "confident" that you can pull it off before getting started.
It sounds like a helpful thought, right?
Ask yourself why?
I often hear:
"Well, if I'm not confident, I might fail."
"It means that I don't have the right plan."
"I can't do something if I'm not confident that it will work out; I'll totally waste my time!"
But what if the opposite of that is true.
Follow me here.
Let's say you're going to create a new "PDF workbook for your customers or employer."
You've never created this type of workbook before.
You get started and try to find the right way to do it.
You take the "I can't do something if I'm not confident that it will work out, I'll totally waste my time!" approach.
This probably makes you feel nervous, uncertain, maybe curious.
So you set out to find out how to do it.
You Google "how to create a PDF workbook."
You find a free webinar on how to create a workbook.
And you fall down this type of rabbit hole.
Wait, what colors should I use?
What are the brand colors?
Should we have a meeting about that?
I need to figure out which font to use.
Wait, how many different fonts should I use?
Which fonts are easiest to read?
Wait, how many words should I have on each page.
Oh yeah, I need to do an outline first.
Hmmm...research how to do an outline.
You find a new training on how to create powerful outlines and take that.
Wait, maybe I should hire a marketing person to design this.
I need to find one first.
Google: marketing person
OMG, there are so many.
I wonder if I should post on my FB page looking for recommendations.
Wait, will people think I don't know what I'm doing?

And at some point, your primitive brain goes batshit and drops a hammer on the f*&@ it button.
And you stop.
Give up.
You think you're not ready yet.
You'll start tomorrow.
You need to do more research.
But it's not the right time.
So you put it off.
Procrastinate.
Dread the project.
Time runs out.
You start to stress.
And continue the cycle.
This process is exhausting.
And more often than not, you probably beat yourself up at this point.
This is the process that I help you interrupt.
I show you how to create confidence without knowing the exact plan.
I show you how to keep yourself from going off the rails into research-ville.
It's not that anything is wrong with you.
Your brain is hardwired to keep you on the hamster wheel.
And nobody teaches us how to manage our minds (seriously, can we get rid of Geometry and teach mindset in high school?! Who do I call?)
I will teach you how to override that part of your brain.
You will save yourself all of the time, confusion, uncertainty, and misery of trying to FIND the right plan.
Because I will teach you how to CREATE the right plan for any result you want.
How fun is that?! (Answer: super fun)
You can start implementing what you learn immediately.
The first step is to hop on a Zoom sesh with me so you can fill me in on all the things.
And I will let you know how I could help you.
